Informational communities
These communities are applied by Seeweb to internal and received routes
and cannot be set by customers.
- : internal or received from a customer, will be propagated to neighbors
- : internal or received from a customer in FRO
- : internal or received from a customer in MIL
- : internal or received from a customer in ROM
- : internal or received from a customer in LUG
- : received from a peer
- : received from a Telecom Italia PNI (Milano, Rome)
- : received at MIX-IT (Milano)
- : received at MINAP (Milano)
- : received at VSIX (Padova)
- : received at NAMEX (Rome)
- : received at AMS-IX (Amsterdam)
- : received from a transit
Traffic engineering communities
These communities can by set by customers to influence routing.
Change routes propagation:
- : do not announce to any peer or transit
- : do not announce to any peer
- : do not announce to peer or IX x
- : prepend n times to peer or IX x
- : do not announce to any transit
- : do not announce to transit y
- : prepend n times to transit y
Prepending is supported for 1 <= n <= 4.
n == 9 means announce with (infinity).
The valid values for y are:
- 1: Arelion ()
- 2: Cogent ()
- 3: NTT ()
- 4: Swisscom ()
Blackholing:
- : blackhole only inside the Seeweb network
- : blackhole on all transits
- : blackhole on transit y
BGP Graceful Shutdown
Seeweb supports the well-known
(GSHUT) community, described in
RFC 8326.
Communities supported by our transits
